......Ahahaha um, did I mention that these two are my absolute favorite ship in the history of ever? XD
ugghh seriously they are going to be the death of me! I've been wanting to draw a Steven x Connie kiss, but for one, I can barely draw humans XD and you'd think that if drawing humans is hard, drawing them kissing is harder! Well guess what? You're right! The sketch alone took 4 hours of fiddling and tweaking (Whew!). I love how this turned out tho! I'm going to write a little passage about the kiss itself, Its up to you guys to imagine how it happened XD

(Steven POV)

'Woah...' That was the only thing I could think of. My heart was pounding like a jackhammer and I could feel the heat in my cheeks increasing steadily. Connie had been standing right in front of me, just talking, then out of no-where she started to lean forward with her hands gripping my shoulders. Her lips touched mine and it was... like nothing I have ever expirienced! All I could do was stare for a moment. This is an experience I'd only dreamt about sharing with Connie, and it was actually happening! Her lips were so soft! They felt like warm silk. Time was moving in slow motion as I stood there and let my inner emotions flood to the surface. Originally frozen at my sides, one of my arms slowly made its way to rest around Connie's waist, the other rose up to her jawline and cradled it gently. Still not fully grasping the fact that this was actually happening, my eyelids fluttered shut.

We broke apart too soon, and for a moment I was afraid to look at her. When I finally did, she was looking at me with her brilliant chocolately eyes. A small smile was forming on her face. I felt dizzy in a good way as a shiver shook my body. Connie must have seen the dorky grin that the shiver put on my face on because she burst out laughing. It was a warm, affectionate laugh and it rang like a bell in my ears. I started laughing too. I took her hands in mine and twirled her around. Giggles continued to escape her as I spun her into my arm and leaned her back. Our noses were touching as I held her in the familiar, but reversed, position. I blushed even more as I thought back to that evening on the beach when we'd first danced and fused. I could see that she was remembering it too, because her laughter died and she just stared at me with eyes brimming over with a very complex emotion. My heart skipped a beat as I realized that I shared that emotion. 'I love you, I love you so much' I thought, wishing that I had the courage to actually say it out loud. I snapped out of my thoughts as she spoke. "I love you too." My heart stopped, had I accidentally spoken my thoughts aloud??? "How did you..." I couldn't even finish the question, I felt so flustered.

Connie, still leaning back in my arms, brought her head up and kissed me again. "I could see it in you're eyes" she said simply. I straightened up so that we were both standing and I kept her  hands in mine. A smile broke out on my face. We sat down, and Connie rested her head on my shoulder, then we dozed off together as the sun set below the horizon....

Okay then! That happened. I apologize for the overflow of fluff and kissy stuff XD this is normal for me. And this was totally improve, I have NO IDEA what a kiss feels like, much less a first kiss XD hahahaaaaa.... anywho! I hope you guys enjoyed this!
